CellForm wins the sponsorship award of the “VR-InnovationsPreis Mittelstand” for the development of the CellForm technology for an efficient production of metallic bipolar plates. Thus, CellForm surpasses a multitude of innovative solutions in the area of hydrogen technology. This years VR Innovations Prize is dedicated to sustainability, as the climate crisis presents unprecedented challenges to humanity and demands radical solutions for existing energy solutions. For global energy solutions, hydrogen will play a crucial role in the future.
Mastering the Energy Transition with CellForm Bipolar Plates
CellForm offers its customers worldwide state-of-the-art technical solutions made in Germany with its highly sophisticated metallic bipolar plates. According to the jury, the developed CellForm technology is particularly innovative, enabling the production of highly efficient bipolar plates with a thickness of 0.05mm. Compared to competing manufacturing processes, fuel cells and electrolysis systems become significantly more efficient by using the new generation of bipolar plates from CellForm. Additionally, the weight and volume can be reduced by up to 50%, while manufacturing costs can be lowered by 90%.
